About the Artist
I was originally born and raised in Western Australia. (And yes, I still have the accent)
I decided to pick up a paint brush when I was 24 years old. (Late, I know) …. But growing up, I was always
inspired by my Aunty Molly who was a brilliant oil based, landscape artist. I had a burning desire to paint
and decided to teach myself.
It was long before all the creativity started to pour itself out onto a canvas and I soon realized that I
needed to keep going with it – learn more – do more. It became my happy place.
As I traveled the world, I found myself in the early 2000’s doing night classes at OCAD in Toronto Canada.
Specifically for 3D charcoal drawing – I LOVE charcoal sketching.
Fast forward to today, I fell in love with Fluid Art and decided to give my all into learning all the beautiful
techniques (and there’s a LOT of techniques). The flow of color and color choice is really the most
beautiful part of fluid art…. And… to top it off, to bring out the color in every piece I do, I epoxy all my
work. It’s the WOW factor!
