Kramer Sculptures

Kramer Sculptures

Kramer Sculptures are handcrafted in Canada by the father/son team of Richard & Boris Kramer. These unique pieces are forged on the anvil, each hammered from a hot piece of steel as blacksmiths have done for centuries. The designs are simple and elegant expressions of human relationships.

Alex Kveton

Alex Kveton

The only child of a builder and an actress, Alex was privy to both, technical and artistic views of the world from the beginning of his life. While his father taught Alex the ageless techniques of wood and metal craft, his mother opened his eyes to the possibilities of artistic imagination.

I work with porcelain into which I wedge a black stain, rendering a smooth black clay body. After throwing the vessel on the wheel I may embellish the pieces with sculptural elements. Elaborate paintings with glazes and under-glazes are incised, revealing the black stained porcelain beneath, giving my drawings a texture depth.

Gail Taylor grew up in New England. Though not far from Boston, she lived outside the city in a wooded area where she developed a lifelong love of nature, which has always been at the base of her artistic work.
